Hi, I'm Ernie! Well, not really. But kind of, yes. My name is Kana (which is Hawaiian for Jan and has been my nickname for many years), and in the summer of 2025, I founded a small business called ERNIE & SHIRT. So, no, Ernie isn't a real person. Ernie is more of a spirit: Ernie is funny and cheeky, not always entirely conventional, but basically a nice guy and reliable. I'm responsible for the designs, and my husband, Percy, handles our marketing. We don't do this full-time; it's a side hustle. We're not getting rich from it, but we enjoy it a lot. By the way, we both work full-time in a hospital. It started as a hobby because we designed our own shirts when we couldn't find what the shops offered.
